Boost Messages

Boost Messages reacts to server boosts. When a member starts boosting, FlaviBot can post an embed you built on the Embed Messages page, send them a DM and give them up to 5 roles; when they stop, it can post a second message, DM them, take those roles back and give other roles instead. Boost tier rewards go further: pick a role for each milestone, from 1 to 120 months of boosting, and FlaviBot keeps only the highest milestone's role on each booster, checking whenever a boost changes and every hour. The module is free.

Boost and unboost messages

One embed when a member starts boosting and another when they stop, posted to a channel, a single thread, or a forum where each boost opens its own post.

Roles that follow the boost

Up to 5 roles are given on boost and removed on unboost, and up to 5 other roles can be handed out when someone stops boosting.

Milestone rewards

Up to 10 tiers, each a number of months and a role. A booster holds only the role of the highest tier reached, and lower tier roles are removed.

A private thank you

Send the booster a DM on boost and on unboost. A member with closed DMs is simply skipped and never counts as a broken setup.

Questions about Boost Messages

What happens when a member stops boosting?

FlaviBot removes the boost roles and any milestone role, gives the unboost roles, and posts the unboost message and DM if you set them up.

How are boosting milestones counted?

From the date Discord reports the member started boosting. FlaviBot re-checks when a boost changes and every hour, so boosters are promoted as they pass a month boundary.

Can I write the boost message as plain text?

No. Boost messages and DMs use an embed you create on the Embed Messages page, where you can also use variables such as the member's name.
