Custom Commands

Custom Commands add your own commands to FlaviBot. Give a command a name, then chain up to 5 actions from the same library the autoresponder uses, such as sending a message or adding, removing or toggling a role. Members run it with your server's text prefix, and allow and deny lists for channels, categories, roles and members decide who can use it and where. A server can hold up to 10 custom commands, on every plan.

Up to 5 actions

Each command runs up to 5 steps from the autoresponder's action library, checked when you save so a broken step is refused instead of failing later.

Who and where

Allow or deny channels, whole categories, roles and individual members. A command blocked by these lists does nothing.

Typed with your prefix

Members run custom commands with the server's text prefix, alongside FlaviBot's built-in commands.

Questions about Custom Commands

Are custom commands slash commands?

No. They run with your server's text prefix, and FlaviBot's built-in commands are checked first, so a built-in command with the same name wins.

How many custom commands can a server have?

Up to 10, each with 1 to 5 actions. The limit is the same on every plan.

When should I use the autoresponder instead?

When the automation should react to something other than a typed command, such as a reaction, a member joining or a button click. The autoresponder listens to more than 35 events.
