FlaviBot Week: meet Economy, your server's own currency
Meet Economy: your server's own currency
Yesterday we gave you a hint: 🪙 Something your members will want to earn… and love to spend.
It's Economy. Your server gets its own currency, with the name and emoji you choose. Members earn it by chatting, hanging out in voice, showing up daily and levelling up. They spend it in a shop you build, trade it, risk it at the casino and chase it through trivia and quests.
Every coin is recorded. Every rule is yours. It all runs from one menu in Discord and one page on the dashboard.

🪙 A currency that looks like yours
Pick a name, a singular form ("1 Gem", "250 Gems") and an emoji. Your own server emojis work. Then arrange the format: emoji first, emoji after the number, with or without the name. Every bot reply and every public page follows it.
Set a starting balance and an optional ceiling. Every member gets a wallet, and you can switch on a safe: a second balance robbers can't touch, with a daily deposit limit and an optional fee.
💼 Nine ways to earn
A new economy mints nothing. You decide where every coin comes from, and that is what gives it value. Mix and match:
- Message activity and voice activity, with daily caps
- Daily reward with a streak bonus (10% more per day by default, up to 300%) and grace days for the odd miss
- Work and crime, with your own flavour replies. A work reply can pay from 0.1x to 5x, so a rare jackpot line feels like one.
- Level up and XP gain, tied to the level system
- Role income and item income, paid daily or weekly, automatically or with
/economy collect

🛒 A shop that actually does things
An item can grant a role, for good or for a set time between one minute and a year. It can give an XP boost from 1.25x to 3x. It can run a workflow of up to ten actions when it is bought, used or consumed. Or it can be a cosmetic, just to show off.
Add stock, a per-member limit, an availability window and a sell-back price. Lock an item behind a role, a level, a minimum balance or other items. Turn on "use up the required items" and Chest II costs a Chest I plus coins. Run a sale on one item, one category or the whole shop, from 1% to 99% off.
The fun part: some items are used on another member. Throw a tomato that costs them 100 coins, hand someone a gift, or bake a cake that posts a message about them. You can make the target accept first, members can block items aimed at them, and cooldowns and daily caps keep it friendly.

🤝 Pay, trade and sell
/economy pay sends coins after a confirmation, with an optional transfer tax that takes coins out of circulation. /economy trade offer opens a panel where both members stage coins and items, and nothing moves until both lock. The marketplace lets members sell items to each other for a small listing fee, with the items held in escrow for up to 7 days.
🎰 Casino, robbery and the police
/casino menu opens a table with blackjack, roulette, slots, coinflip and higher or lower. Quick bets, Play again and Double the bet keep the games flowing. You set the bet limits and how many games fit in a time window.
Rob is optional. By default the odds depend on wealth: the richer the robber is next to the target, the likelier they get caught, between 20% and 80%. Fines can flow into a fine pot that members with your police role claim.
🧠 Trivia and quests
Write your own trivia questions, or import up to 500 at a time from a CSV. Members answer against a timer, hard questions pay more, and a joker removes a wrong answer and adds 10 seconds. Trivia pays for knowledge, so it runs even with the casino off.
Quests give members goals: buy 3 items this week, win 5 casino games today, keep a 7-day streak. Rewards can be coins, items, a role, a personal shop discount or an XP boost, claimed right from the economy menu.

📊 See your whole economy
The Activity tab charts the money supply, coins minted and burned per day, the flow by reason, and your top earners and spenders. Analytics add the median balance, a Gini coefficient, the wealth distribution, top items and revenue per category. A member lookup opens any wallet, inventory and history, and every transaction sits in the ledger, filterable by member and reason.
