Twitch Notifications

Twitch Notifications tell your server when a streamer goes live. Paste a username or a twitch.tv link, choose the channel, and FlaviBot posts an alert as soon as Twitch reports the stream has started, with the streamer's name, the stream title and the link, or your own message built from the title, category, viewer count, thumbnail and avatar. Only going live is announced; there is no message when the stream ends. Target a forum channel and each stream opens its own thread. The notifications are free.

The moment they go live

Twitch notifies FlaviBot when a stream starts, so the announcement is close to immediate. Only going live is announced, there is no message when a stream ends.

The whole stream in variables

A thread per stream

Questions about Twitch Notifications

Does FlaviBot post when a stream ends?

No. Only going live is announced.

Why is my Twitch subscription refused?

The username has to resolve to a real Twitch channel when you save, and the same channel cannot be followed twice on one server.

Why did my subscription switch itself off?

After 10 permanent delivery failures in a row, usually a deleted channel or a lost permission, the subscription is disabled and the list shows why. Fix the cause and switch it back on.
