FlaviBot Patch notes (v5.8.0)

Moderation

• The full moderation suite is here, every action is a tracked case, nothing is ever deleted, only revoked.
• New commands: /ban, /tempban, /softban, /kick, /mute, /unmute, /unban, /warn, /note
• /case to view, edit a reason or revoke a case, and /modhistory for a member's full record
• Auto-escalation: set warn thresholds and FlaviBot automatically mutes/kicks/bans (e.g. 3 warns → 24h mute, 5 warns → kick)
• Appeal system: punished members get a DM with the reason, duration and a one-click Appeal button
• Mod-log: rich per-case embeds in a channel or forum, with a "Jump to message" evidence link and full edit/revoke audit trail
• Configurable DMs per action, warn decay, and custom mod roles that can moderate without Discord permissions
• AutoMod overlay: link Discord's native AutoMod rules to FlaviBot warns (with burst de-dup)
• AutoMod template library: browse, install in one click, like and share community automod rules
• Full dashboard cases page: search & filter cases, view member history, manage escalation rules

Music

• "Not for me" feedback: when you dislike a track, tell us why (this song / this artist / this genre / wrong vibe) and autoplay adapts instantly
• Discover Weekly (experiment, rolling out): opt in from your profile to get a personalized weekly playlist in your DMs
• Shared playlists: grant others access to your playlists, with a reorder/shuffle permission
• New Radios tab in the music panel, with tags and a one-click Play button
• /spotify set-id now accepts your Spotify profile link directly

Roles & Rewards

• Boost role rewards: automatically grant roles when members boost your server
• Server-tag streak rewards: reward members for keeping your server tag on

Leveling

• You can now restrict XP gain to specific channels

Suggestions & Starboard

• Reworked and improved the starboard and suggestion systems
• Suggestions now automatically open a thread for discussion

Dashboard

• Feature health indicators: every feature card now shows if it's healthy, hitting errors, or auto-disabled — hover for the exact Discord error (e.g. "missing Manage Channels permission") and reactivate in one click
• Role & channel changes are now pushed live to the dashboard
• Every related command is now listed on each dashboard feature
• Threads & forum channels are now selectable across the dashboard
• New category redirects, and a fix for the crash on the live commands page

Commands & Permissions

• Improved command configuration; commands no longer require the global Manage Server permission
• Fixed explicit overrides not applying in command settings

Notifications

• New Twitch social notification announcements
• Reddit is broken, a patch is coming soon

• New automod-style rule: trigger when a message has {count} or more images

• Autoplay v2: a fully rebuilt recommendation engine that learns from your recent tracks, your feedback and listening signals, with smarter diversity so the queue never feels repetitive
• "What's next?" button: preview the upcoming autoplay picks — and why each was chosen — before you skip
• Source labels on the now-playing card: see at a glance if a song came from autoplay, a playlist, default music or the queue
